Fairways is always a great choice for a meal. The service is always excellent but it's the food that brings us back. My British born husband and I love the fish and chips. All it needs to be 100% authentic is mushy peas but the slaw is an acceptable alternative. The cod is properly cooked and the batter is light an crunchy. Great food and service! We shared a spinach and artichoke dip while we waited for our entrees. The wife followed hers up with cheeseburger egg rolls and a house salad. I am stuck on the feta and pear chicken salad.

Tried Fairways for the first time last Saturday. We got there about 5:30 and the parking lot was already full. We were lucky and got a table even without reservations. Later it looked like there was a wait for a table. It's a nice dining room, nicer than I'd expect for a golf course restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered beef short ribs. It's one of my favorites but it is always a risk trying it at a new place. These were among the best I've ever had....read full review
