Her customer service was perfect. She felt like a long-time family friend. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively with tons of customers. The food was delicious. The food service was quick. We tried several dishes, beginning with their crispy brussel sprouts, twice cooked fries, and the Ben's bread. Our main dishes were the 1/2 lb burger + fries, the grilled hanger steak, and the house pasta dish. Each bite had us in awe. Food quality and flavor were all on point. “😀This is an amazing place...the entire place is full of character, and one can tell a lot of thought and care went into not only the decor and atmosphere but the menu as well. Even as amazing is the dining in the bar area, the formal dining room, and banquet room...it's uncommon to find a place with so much tastefully-done variety, especially in a town this size. Curt and his staff are very caring and customer-oriented and the menu offers a seeminly endless variety.....as well as both lunch and dinner serving times. And for those who are tired of dirty tables in so many places, this place, including the restrooms, are immaculate. I live roughly 40 miles away but plan to make this place a regular on my list for fine dining!”

“If you want lots of options for the bar at your event, Pub 225 is the place! Jamie exceeded our expectations of what she could offer for the bar at our wedding. There were multiple types of beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and even custom cocktails that she worked with us to create! Jamie worked with us to do a full mimosa menu and build your own bloody mary bar to go with our brunch reception. Pub 225’s model of pay per drink worked perfect for our reception since we know we had lots of kids and older folks who don’t drink as much attending. I’d recommend Pub 225 for any event!”

“The pizza was amazing however the service not so much. Once we received our pizzas our server never checked on us. We finally asked her for boxes to go. After at least 10 minutes we had to go to the bar and ask for boxes and our check!! Then she only brought 1 box so had to go get another one
This is the second time I have eaten here and both times we had to go to the bar to ask for our checks. First time it wasn't even busy. Even with good food and drinks not sure I will go back”

“Great place for sub sandwiches. Service is always pretty quick. Several different bread, meat, and topping choices to build your own type of sandwich. You can choose different sizes of bread too and make it either single sized or family sized.”

“Stopped at this subway in Dixon IL on the way home from Waterloo Iowa to Batavia IL. Ordered our lunch and asked the manager making my sandwich if he would slightly modify it to my liking. Said no problem, they are here to satisfy their customers and give them great food.

This is a clean restaurant with friendly staff. I could tell they enjoy their jobs…. Great attitude. I recommend you check this Subway out. Well managed!”
