One of my favorite noodle places in CU -- definitely a underrated and kind-of hidden restaurant! I like their soupy noodles more than dry noodles, but will still happily eat both. I've also gotten their lunch specials with rice (changes daily) and it is so worth it. Food is large portions and tastes authentic! Every time I come here, there are so many international friends so you can tell this place hits home!!
Very solid, authentic Chinese eats. Big portions, super affordable prices. Hard to go wrong if you're craving some hole-in-the-wall Chinese. Loved: * Mapo tofu - well done sauce, very fragrant * Braised beef noodle soup - lots of tender beefy chunks and a rich broth * Eggplant with garlic sauce - a classic. Tender eggplant and a really good sauce

Staying and dining in Urbana/Champaign for over 20 years, La La Noodle has been the first choice of my husband and myself. Although this restaurant sounds like only serving noodles by name, it has actually a large variety (or almost the full spectrum) of professionally cooked Chinese dishes.
