“First off, the burrito was delicious! And if you are really hungry, go for the king burrito. Wow, that was gigantic but so good I couldn't stop eating it! The chips were on point. However, the salsa was the only draw back from the whole meal. The restaurant was clean and friendly and I would definitely go back. So bring a big appetite for this pace you will need it.“

“Best gyro in the area! Chicken Shwarma was well-seasoned and moist. Falafel perfect all around - spiced nicely, crispy. And thanks to Amba for your great team!“

“Did the 3 day cleanse. I was a little nervous before I started. Most cleanse tend to put you in the bathroom all day or are really harsh and taste terrible. This cleanse was the complete opposite. Easy on my stomach, everything tasted great (detox shot was strong but it was a small dose so it wasn't a problem) and I had the best sleep during those 3 days. I did the cleanse to reset my body. I had gotten into some bad eating habits that I needed to detox. I loved some of the juices so much that I'm ordering them for myself and my family to incorporate into our day. Definitely try these juices!“

“I needed to get past how out dated this restaurant is. Once I put that behind me, I've enjoyed the food on several occasions. Their rib eye sandwich with fresh horseradish never disappoints! The servers are always pleasant and we are checked on often. Good food and good people!“

“Bridget is a great server. My meal was good. I enjoyed waffles with cinammon apples. My husband's meal was so-so. The chicken fried chicken competed with the sausage gravy. We think a traditional white gravy would be better. The atmosphere is good. Despite being crowded, we could hear each other. We would go back if we're in the area.“

“I ordered the gyro plate meal, which was very fresh, hearty, and tasty. The gyro sandwich had an ample serving of lamb meat, so there was no need to request or pay for extra. My order was quickly prepared and cost less than $12. I would recommend as well as re-visit Johnny's Beef & Gyros in the future. Bon Appétit!“

“Merichka's is one of those places locals have a special place in their heart for; they grew up with it and love it. The atmosphere is 50's kitch. There are several dining rooms and a circa 1940s bar. Other patrons heard we were new to the restaurant and told us we had to get the Poorboy "...it's what Merichka's is known for." It turns out their Poorboy Steak is ground beef plank (a long rectangular patty) on garlic bread served with pickles and lettuce for $14. We also got their Icelandic Cod sandwich (we chose baked over fried) for $15. We also had the Combo Appetizer- onion ring and fried mushrooms for $13. Both sandwiches are available on a plate (choice of potato or steamed vegetables and a salad) for $23 and $26, respectively. That is $10 for a vegetable and salad, if found that high. Dinners are also available for an additional $4 to the plate price (dinners add a relish tray). I decided to get the sandwich a la carte, so maybe it's a lot of food. The Icelandic Cod was prepared perfectly. Fish can be rubbery if overcooked, but this was tender and delicate. I was disappointed the bun was straight out of the bag, not toasted or grilled. The Poorboy was an unseasoned ground beef on garlic bread; it is definitely a skip for me next time. Their menu is extensive with chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, ribeye steak sandwich, and pork chop sandwich. Full meals include lobster, salmon, and steaks.Parking: There has to be over 75 parking spaces on the adjacent and neighboring lots.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with grilled cheese, chicken tenders, cheese burger, etc... it includes french fries and a beverage.Wheelchair accessibility: There are lots of stairs as soon as you walk in and stairs between rooms. I saw a ramp on the other end of the restaurant. You would go through the bar to get to a hostess stand (there are literally 3) and then be limited to the green room. There are stairs to the red rooms, and the bar only has high barstool tables.“

“Family dined in tonight and enjoyed everything. We all had grouper and salad with some great desserts. I let the owner know that I enjoyed the bread pudding at Sheperds in Clearwater and was told hers was better. I think she was correct. Everything was perfect. My daughter is going to Clearwater in a few weeks so she got a few pointers on where to eat. Felt like being in Florida. Great job and we will be regulars for sure. On waitress was very nice and took care of us. Thanks for everything and look forward to coming back, thanks again, Tony, Vicki and Ashley“

“Someone told me to try this place and I finally stopped in with a friend. Friendly staff and very clean. The fresh and warm chips with salsa was great. The steak tacos were the best I've had in the lockport/cresthill area. Great value, portion size and very tastie. I've tried multiple taco restaurants in the area as well. The green sauces were awesome too. Found a new favorite spot for steak tacos.Try them out!!! You won't be disappointed!“

“This was my second time trying this place... not sure how I forgot about the first? Food and drinks were fantastic. Homemade limoncello martinis? Delicious. I had the Wahoo, which was a little dry for my fish taste, but nonetheless the taste was very good with a nice pairing of sauce. I had the Angry Mussels with pairing of Focaccia E Pesto were the apps I tried. Bringing these out together triggered my inner swine to take over. So GD good. Will definitely be back. Great Job!!!! Bartenders are super cool and personable.“
