“Extremely hospitable staff and clientele. They even warmly welcomed my dog. If I was a local, this would easily be my regular hangout to enjoy delicious beers while catching up with friends or watching a game (let's go Red Wings!). They had 15 of their own brews, including the two IPAs I enjoyed, and several guest ciders. There was really a brew for every palate. I look forward to my next visit when passing through town.“

“Stopped in on a whim passing through central IL on a Sunday, greeted by friendly bartender and patrons, bartender updated us promptly on current beer offerings. Owner talked to us about the beers and let us sample a newly tapped IPA, and all the beers were great! Loved the Utter butter cream ale & Apple Jax lager. The slaughterhouse theme was executed nicely. ;) Food menu and specials looked awesome. Really cool and unique spot, totally worth the adventure to this small town brewery. Cheers!“

“I have had great customer service here every time. No problems with accommodations, or questions. Beer has now gotten more variety and won 2023 award for best bar. Rightfully so. Restaurant upstairs is good, African food has great flavor. Takes a while depending on what it is, given what they're probably working with for kitchen appliances. Every time very good!!!“
