I had heard that their lasagna was some of the best in Rockford, so I was going to try that, but one of the diners recommended the stroganoff, which was absolutely amazing. My wife had the lasagna, and it was as good as I had heard! Last night was our first visit, won’t be our last. Highly recommended.“

Instantly top 5 pizza place for me. 1000% best pizza in the parks. Rockford has some crazy good pizza so to be in the top 5 after 1 pie is crazy impressive. The price was legit too. 21 bucks for a GIANT 1 topping is good af. Highly recommend their pizza. I think ill try the cracker crust next time as ive heard great things about that as well. “We usually go there for the soup and salad which is excellent it's $9.99 for the weekdays the waitress name was Kayla were there a couple years ago we haven't gone there we go to the Janesville Olive Garden because of superior we had a waitress that literally took over an hour to bring our food we had my telephone and I was watching The Andy Griffith Show and we forgot about it actually I watched like for Andy Griffith shows before she came with the food and like duh both of us were like unbelievable I forgot what I ordered because a waitress that was incompetent to worry about the the customers and the manager that allowed this to happen is unbelievable what should we just stopped going no big deal there's other places to go she's very polite courteous I was great it was I was happy I was totally full it was great it was happy and iced tea the rolls and the soup which it was great I think I'm going to come back but you guys that own these restaurants or the managers you have to watch your your your your your workers I know people have off days and this and that and you're human so we make mistakes but my God over an hour to bring some I mean you don't know what's going on if you haven't brought your customers food and now it was it was an hour hour and a half the the manager was shocked and she was she was shocked the the waitress forgot to put our order in unbelievable but that's the way it goes I don't know what the problem was it's nothing personal it's business you know you go to a place you want to eat is business it's not personal“

We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“

“Top Dollar Slots on Alpine is one of the better gaming spots in the Rockford area if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable slot parlor with good machines and a relaxed atmosphere. The space is well kept, machines are in great condition, and the overall vibe is easygoing whether you’re stopping in for a quick session or staying awhile.

What really made this visit stand out though was the food. I tried the Napoli’s Specialty Supreme Pizza, and it was honestly excellent — fresh, loaded with toppings, and cooked perfectly. Having quality food available while you play is a huge bonus compared to many local gaming cafes.

“Excellent stuffed pizza. I was expecting stuffed crust, but it is a double crusted pizza. The flavor was great, and I loved the cheese. I wished I had weighed the slices. Loaded. I was full before finishing two slices.Ordered half sausage. Only thing I would change is to ask them to mark which slices had sausage.“

I ordered the "baby" pizza - 6 slices, and the toppings were very generous; cheesy garlic bread with a side of sauce (which was in a closed container and wŕapped in cellophane just to be safe against spilling) and a canoli.
