Have you ever popped up somewhere just hoping for a glass of cold water and find yourself drinking a cool, refreshing glass of homemade doogh/ ayran with fresh mint leaves and then walked out of the restroom with whudu to get yourself prayed up from behind the curtains and on time for salaat and then salata while your Chef prepares the meal with such zest for cooking you hear the knives chopping and bowls banging in the kitchen like...
Nice ambience and good food. Stopped by here with friends for dinner. We were trying to find a spot between oakpark and downtown and this place came up. It was our first time and am glad we made this choice. falafel wrap was yummy, so was the hummus

Baba Pita has great chicken dishes, but the beef shawarma is the best I've ever eaten. The owner really knows how to prepare beef. I also recommend the beef kefta. Their freshly made drinks are excellent as well.
