12:10 pm on a Friday... Peak lunch time and you don't have a any slices ready to go? Not one single slice? And like 5 people in your restaurant eating with. 8 people waiting for food and 3 inline.

Bacci Pizzeria on Taylor Street is a restaurant where the food and service stand out. The pizza is delicious, with jumbo slices that are truly huge and always SO hot and fresh. One slice was described as "HEAVENLY." The ranch was okay, not bad. The staff are incredible, friendly, and patient, even during a busy Saturday evening rush. In an emergency for an event with 300+ elementary students, Rafael and the rest of the Bacci staff sprung into action, slicing and packaging 30+ huge slices in less than 20 minutes. They understood the time crunch and didn't make anyone feel like a burden. The service is a real highlight, with friendly cooks and great communication. The people are great, and everyone is always so happy when Bacci's is in the building. It is considered the best pizza place in Chicago.
