This is not a low-brow cafeteria. There are multiple stations for different types if food. Dishes are prepared in small quantities, so everything is quite flavorful and not over-cooked. Stations are for: vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher, halal, grilled foods, comfort foods, large salad bar, fruit bar, soup stations, desserts. Wheel chair accessible. Reasonably priced. I go here when I really can't face cooking or when I am in a hurry. Always good.
I actually just had a brownie from Bartlett. just now. and I just wanted to share that I thought it was like, excellent. if ur ever in the Bartlett area I would highly recommend. my friend called her cookie (chocolate chip) "soft, and, chocolatey." I would describe my brownie in similar terms. I did also want to say that I had forgotten how good that one Sam Smith album is. almost as good as this brownie. thank u bart

My friend had an amazing time here. Absolutely no food entered his eyes thanks to Bartlett's complementary bart-goggles. It's a fun little UChicago secret that very few people know about but all you have to do to get the Bart-goggles is to complement the chef and then show him a picture of the Bart-goggles. Asking is NOT enough!
