“Great music and good vibe all around“

“Hostess was rude from start to finish. Attitude about us canceling our dinner reservation to come for happy hour instead, even though we called and were told that was totally fine. Then that same person was at our table with a towel before we even stood up to leave. Couldn't wait for us to be gone! Our server was very sweet, so that made up for it. Food was fine. Bar food. Good deal.“

“Family owned, food is homemade and delish! Salad with house dressing has always been my fave. Been going here for over 45 years. Try the schnitzel, potato pancakes, brats, leberkase....everything is great! Beer garden in the back is the icing on the cake!“

“We had a delicious takeout brunch. The steak and eggs were so flavorful and the chilaquiles were exactly how I like them. The cinnamon roll was an extra special treat. The food tasted just as good as in the restaurant. A great option for takeout!“

“Definitely one of my favorite industry hangs in the whole city. Every time you visit with friends, you're bound to meet some noteworthy people ready to chat you up. Free popcorn all and a great staff of people to greet you at the door and behind the bar.
Open to 4am! What more could you ask for?“

“My friend and I came for a little Galentine's celebration - food was great (a little more expensive than we were expecting), but they had heart-shaped crust for Valentine's weekend which was fun! However, it was so dimly lit that other people at other tables were using their phone flashlights to look at the menu, and it was kind of loud when trying to have a conversation with someone. I would probably come here again for the food, but maybe during the day instead!“

Hanging out at Nick’s in Wicker Park right now and loving the vibe. Great mix of live music and shuffleboard. Tons of local craft beers on tap, and the happy hour deals are hard to beat — $3 drafts and the “Chicago Handshake” are a must.

Shoutout to Will behind the bar — super friendly, quick with a drink, and keeping the energy up. Even when it’s busy, he’s on top of it.

“If you have the time and appreciate good food it’s a gem settled in the neighborhood. Wonderful options and nice selection of non alcoholic hand crafted drinks of various kinds, I had the lavender lemonade. It’s first come first serve outdoor seating only. It’s dog friendly!“
