This is a world famous authentic hamburger place in the basement at Hubbard Street. The location is the best although you have to go down a few stairs from ground level Michigan Avenue. The atmosphere is fantastic, friendly, great "cheezborger!" and beer. The service is incredibly fast, almost no waiting time. Very cheap, great food, great place, great value.
An old school burger/bar with a simple menu that hits the spot. Burgers are simple but tasty. I tried the rib eye burger and the steak was cooked perfectly. Double burger looked good too.
