“We had an early lunch on a Wednesday, 11:15. The club sandwich, fries, grillled cheese and tomato soup were perfect.
The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. It was hard to believe the bustling city was just outside the door.
We will definitely be back to try more on the menu the next time we are in the city.“

“Amazing food and incredible service. I couldn’t believe how flavorful and delicious the food was. I’ve eaten in a lot of different, and way more expensive, restaurants in Chicago. The food at Le Sud, not only rivals, but surpasses many of Chicago’s “finest.” This restaurant is a gem not to be missed.“

“I was not a huge fan. I ordered the egg sandwich and it seemed... fine? Maybe I ordered poorly as my companion seemed more satisfied. But the egg sandwich itself felt pretty standard. The saving grace is the potatoes. They as so tasty and crispy with the best flavor!

Service is also good, no complaints there.“

“Fun place to go for sure. When we went there was an hour wait, which made sense because it was a Saturday night. There seemed to be a lot of confusion and there were some people coming in after us without reservations or anything getting seated before us. Eventually we went up to ask the staff and they were sort of arguing among themselves for a little while until we ended up getting served by who I was pretty sure was the manager. The experience was very fun though I would definitely recommend going back.“
