Went to Burton Place for some late-night pub grub after a concert. Headed up to the second floor to play a couple games of pool while waiting for food. I got the double cheeseburger and fries, and my buddy got wings, burger was super juicy and hit the spot. Loved the chill, multi-level dive bar feel and the jukebox playing good tunes. Bartender was fast with the drinks too.
This place is on another level! Literally, the bartenders are so very easy going and they have two bars on two different floors! Easy place to get lost in the sauce but the energy here is on a different level! Don’t forget to buy the Burton Place Baseball Caps!
We weren't sure what to expect on a Friday, but finding seating was surprisingly simple. The drinks were well-made, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming. A good Chicago bar experience.
