The truth is Chi-Town Chicken is broasted, not fried. The menu is on the yellow awning. Broasted chicken is marinated and fried in oil, inside a pressure cooker. The process was invented in 1954. Chicken is first marinated and seasoned to perfection, then rolled into a special batter. Broasting is a far healthier option than frying. This place exists in a run-down part of the city which already worried me. I had the 5pc chicken, and it was really good but I found hair in my food. This place was amazing to eat at 2 years ago but I cannot recommend it anymore. No one in this facility takes food safety seriously. Someone can get sick or hurt.
