If you like punk music and dive bars this one spot you should check out. Not for the faint of hearted, and I much prefer that. Sadly since Exit on North Ave. closed venues like this have become more difficult to find. While there are larger bars such as Delilah's Chicago the vibe of this smaller space works well. This review is only for the food portion since we did not see a show while we were there. We really hoped that they would have the hot dog soup but unfortunately it was pea soup. I have heard all of their soups are amazing but the Chicago hot dog one is supposed to be the best. We sat at the bar and the service was good. They have a nice selection of beers and liquor. I’ve been to Cobra Lounge atleast 25-30 times in the past year and honestly I’ve always had a great experience.I go to a lot of hardcore shows, so as you’d imagine I’m usually dying of thirst after each band. Cobra Lounge almost always provides free cups and water which is amazing - they also sell Liquid Death water too which although pricy, can beat waiting in line for water at sold out shows.The food here is solid.
