Solid cocktails and smash burgers. I think they’ve recently cut down their menu and eliminated tacos as they essentially only have smash burgers
Smash burger with the cheese skirt is the best burger in Wicker Park!!!! The wings have the perfect batter and don't skip the Pastor chicken sandwich. Pineapple slices on top were great touch. They also have a great Monday special. If I lived closer I would eat here every week. Vibes inside are awesome and the patio is great also. Don't sleep on this jem.

Desert Hawk is a cool spot with a good vibe, perfect for tacos and margs. The atmosphere is very cool with intimate booths and big tables. They offer dairy-free options and have amazing burgers according to one reviewer. Even though it's dark inside, it's not overly crowded. They have Delirium Tremens on tap, making it a win for beer lovers. The drinks are solid, and the burger is excellent. The bartender, Javier, is a true mixologist who knows his craft. This place is great for a drink. The Jibarito Smash Burger is impressive, with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, and their version of animal-style sauce. The burger is well-prepared, and the bun has two fried plantains. The customer service is cool, and the vibe inside, though not everyone's type, is local and has a good atmosphere with exposed brick and a nice Christmas tree. The Smash Jibarito burgers and food are epic, and the owner is really nice. This is a great spot in the West Town/Wicker Park area.
