“Obelix is always fantastic! We went on a Monday and they were super busy, which is awesome to see. On Mondays they offer 1/2 price bottles of bubbles and also had a selection of pastries available (sooo good!!). Top notch service from the entire staff and Ashley, our server, was lovely. “I sat at the bar at the tail end of happy hour and received great service from Emily Rose! The absenth drip cocktail was a fun experience and the oysters were fresh. It was busy but Emily Rose kept it fun and the drinks coming. Beautiful atmosphere too. Highly recommend!“

“I found this gem about a month ago and I have been here several times in the past month...and I live in South Carolina! If you have not found this place - RUN to them! Their food is amazing. Their French Onion soup will bring a tear to your eyes... and their Cornish hen is out of this world! Graham and his crew here are kicking out some amazing food you can't find everywhere in Chicago and this place is becoming a fan favorite with our company and some of our vendors/partners. “We loved our meal last night for Valentine’s Day! pair the duck bread with the squash soup. It was absolutely delicious. The goat cheese salad with the apple dressing was equally as good. My steak was cooked perfectly. We had an amazing espresso martini and a delightful crisp lemon cocktail. My husband also liked their old fashioned. We split caramel ice cream with pineapple and it was a great finishing touch. The Moscato d Asti never disappoints either this is our fourth Valentine’s Day with Brindille and it has been our tradition ever since we have been together. Each year is different and this year was definitely better than the last! Their servers are great too. We are looking forward to our future years here. Thank you. ❤️“

“Came here with a group of 8 to do restaurant week as it had been on my radar for forever. The staff was super attentive and so great for such a large party. The food was so delicious, especially the half roasted chicken. And everything came out hot. As someone with a food allergy, they made it so easy to order and the reassurance each meal was safe was above and beyond! The ambiance is so romantic and cozy. We all agreed we'd love to come back.“

“Wow! Such an authentic French vibe. The food is AMAZING. My server, Nastia, was so attentive, friendly, and polite. She really was the cherry on top of the whole experience.

I ordered the seafood crepe and my boyfriend ordered the chicken with mushroom. I couldn’t decide which was better, but my boyfriend said he’ll never order anything but the chicken and mushroom so do with that what you will!

“We went for the Valentines Day 3 course meal and it was just incredible. The chocolate dessert that they have is to die for! It is also decorated beautifully and you can tell that all of the food is made with quality and fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back here again! My only complaint was our service, we felt like since we weren't big drinkers that we didn't get checked on very much by our waiter compared to some of the other tables & that's that we are generally pretty “easy.” However the hostess, other staff, and food runners were super sweet. Hopefully next time we'll just get a better server. However the food and everything else made up for the lack of our server being too hands on!! Will be back soon!“

“We visited Bistronomic for lunch today and left with a genuinely positive impression — especially when it comes to hospitality.

Darko, our server, was exceptional. He struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, and he connected effortlessly with our two-year-old son. Dining out with a toddler can sometimes feel stressful, but Darko’s attentiveness and natural kindness helped keep our little one calm and engaged throughout the meal. That level of service does not go unnoticed.

The cuisine was well-executed and thoughtfully presented. That said, we came in expecting a more traditional French lunch experience and later realized the menu leans toward a refined brunch concept. That was more our oversight than anything else. The dishes reflect creativity and modern interpretation rather than strictly classic French fare.

Overall, Bistronomic delivers on service and atmosphere, and the menu offers a fresh, imaginative take on French-inspired cuisine. For attentive hospitality and a creative midday dining experience, we would certainly recommend it.“

“I took my daughter out for her birthday with my son and his family. Suffice it to say, my family loves good food and the menu hit the spot for us. Warm bread served with a briny tapenade, seafood tower, oyster plate, caviar service, duck, steaks and delicious sides were just a few items that we ate. The drinks were good as well. We really enjoyed ourselves and the service was very good.“

“Been here a few times to eat and grab drinks, however Fernando at the front as soo accomodating. It was Valentine's Day and my wife and I walked in hoping to grab a few after dinner drinks. He warmly welcomed us. Along with Marco, the bartender, even dib'd stools for us because we were waiting almost an hour for chairs to open up. Top notch hospitality.“
