inviting atmosphere!
My lunch spot every time I’m in Chinatown!! the food is so delicious and the portions are perfect. My go to is the Horuma noodles, perfect if you’re into medium spice. My friend loved the vegetarian noodle option too. And the space itself is lovely!
Must try chicken karage, tonkatsu Ramen, simple and rich flavor from pork soup.

Kajiken Chicago is a vibrant noodle restaurant celebrated for its epic noodles and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is lively and intimate, featuring cute decorations and comfortable seating that make it easy to enjoy a meal. The menu offers a variety of options at reasonable prices, making it a nice find in a big city.
Customers have praised the food, especially the shoyu tonkatsu ramen, known for its flavorful broth. The regular tonkatsu ramen has received mixed reviews, with some finding it bland but improving with chili oil. The appetizers, like gyoza and age tofu, have been enjoyed as tasty starters. The homura don, a ground pork rice bowl, disappointed one reviewer, lacking flavor and a generous portion of meat. On the other hand, the sukiyaki soupless ramen has been highlighted as a favorite dish by a customer, who appreciated the delicious beef broth with caramelized onion.
Despite varied opinions on some dishes, the service remains consistently rated as excellent, with attentive staff ensuring quick meal delivery and water refills. Many diners express a desire to return and try more items from the menu. Overall, Kajiken Chicago is a must-visit spot for noodle lovers and those seeking a good dining experience in Chinatown.
