Went here for dinner on a Friday night and damn, this spot is legit. Had the jollof risotto and the duck breast—both were wild good. Flavors were bold but super balanced, and the plating looked like art. Vibe was upscale but not stuffy, and the staff was cool, not overbearing. Felt like one of those hidden gems you wanna gatekeep but can’t.
Went to Private Affairs at The Gwen for their Tipsy Tea, and it was a vibe. The tea tower was stacked with sweet and savory bites, and the botanical cocktails were on point. Dropped about $75 per person, and it was worth it for the experience. The space is cozy yet chic, perfect for a weekend hangout. Definitely a unique spot in the city.
Celebrated my birthday here with some friends during their Tipsy Tea. The food was great and the teas were delicious. I really enjoyed the service and ambiance. Great for anyone looking for a unique experience on a weekend in Chicago!
