Heard great things about this place and decided to drop in to see if I would be transported to PR. It was packed for the outside patio but the inside was empty. Very narrow but tons of space in the front house and back house for larger parties. We were sat but it took a while to be noticed and served let alone given water and a menu. First time visitors in from Maryland. In Maryland we can’t get quality comida criolla often. We highly recommend this food for anyone looking for quality authentic Puerto Rican food, stop looking! La Bruquena checks every box. Absolutely delicious and authentic Puertorrican food. Everybody was very welcoming from the staff to the other costumers. The PR sampler was incredible. I haven't had morcilla in years flavor was great just like I remember from growing up in Puerto Rico.
