The beef stew and rice was delicious, the goat was tender, and the chapati was really good. Enjoyed the fresh lettuce and also the beans. Highly recommend. Swift and friendly service. Great food amidst simple surroundings.
Hey Foodies, Stop in at Laa Mushkila and say hi to my friend Garaad and his wife, who are doing a spectacular job creating delicious menu items. I was so excited to try Somali dishes and Laa Mushkila did not disappoint. Garaad's wife is the Master Chef and she has a wonderful touch with all of the menu items, blending in just the right amount of spices to give every dish a balance of flavors. I tried the Lamb Shank & the meat was, "fall off the bone" tender, loaded with flavor....read full review

So good! We had breakfast here and specified vegan/vegetarian. The dish with beans (foul?) and the vegetable dish were both amazing. The bread was thin like injera bread but different, a little sweeter,The staff person also brought us some oatmeal and spinach to try and that was great, too.
