We were excited that Levain is now in Chicago. We stepped in the store and the staff greeted us warmly. We stepped up to the counter and I was overwhelmed with all the great cookies to choose from and Kiara was very kind and helped to narrow down the choices; she was welcoming and full of smiles. It's not just the cookies that are amazing -- it's also the staff!

I knew nothing about this bakery until my friends and I were in the West Loop for a class at Brooklyn Boulders this morning. After that fun, we decided to walk and headed to Levain for what I was promised would be a delicious and unforgettable cookie!

The selection was amazing and I happily left with a chocolate chip walnut cookie for today and an oatmeal raisin scone...
