Bar Siena Reviews
Delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. I had the pleasure of dining recently with friends, and every dish, from the Octopus to the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection. The cocktails sent our experience over the top, long with the amazing wait service.
Anytime I am back in Chicago, Bar Siena will most certainly be a mandatory stop!
LOVE Yaz! So so sweet!
The pizza was very good!

Bar Siena offers a mixed dining experience. While the food quality has been inconsistent lately, some dishes like the octopus, lobster pasta, and burrata appetizer are delicious, with the burrata being one of the best appetizers ever. The outdoor seating is pleasant and scenic, perfect for a relaxed meal, although diners may encounter peddlers. Portion sizes tend to be small, and the menu is quite basic, with some items like grilled fish no longer available, leaving only the heavy halibut milanese. The restaurant has a cozy setup, featuring a big tree decor in the middle, and is known for its fresh focaccia topped with arugula and truffle honey oil. Service can vary; some servers are fabulous and attentive, while others may be less friendly. The vibe can get loud and club-like as the evening progresses. Recent reviews highlight excellent service, friendly staff, and tasty food, with one guest praising the ambience and outdoor dining experience. Many visitors enjoy the fun atmosphere, great cocktails and wine, and the consistent quality of certain dishes like the rigatoni alla vodka. However, some miss the old menu items like the short rib lasagna, which was considered the best dish on the menu. Overall, despite some ups and downs, Bar Siena remains a popular spot for those seeking a relaxed yet lively dining atmosphere in Chicago.
