The south sides best kept secret. Remember how Harolds used to taste in the 70's and 80's? Marlon's is the best fried chicken in Chicago in my opinion. Might be the best I've ever had. Always hot, fresh and seasoned to perfection.
Cooked to order and so fresh which I've rarely experienced lately. Some have already cooked the chicken they're serving. The ambiance wasn't anything to write home to mother about but the food outdid it. Service was good- the young guy was cooking my chicken and when he seen me at the window he acknowledged me-although, he wasn't the one who took my order. He washed his hands and came to the window. Big thumbs up for that
