Coffee roaster tucked away in an industrial area. Most of what they sell goes to businesses but there is a small storefront and shop.High quality drip, pour overs, and lattes - some of the best I've had in the city. Pastries are brought in and also very good - but limited in supply!There is no seating indoors but weather permitting there are tables and chairs outside.Parking: Street parking is fairly limited with all the loading docks. You may have to park a block away.
Metric is easily one of the best coffee shops in the city of Chicago.I just got one of their drip coffees and it was perfect. Not boiling hot, but certainly not cold. It was fruitful and not bitter at all.I also order their beans to make coffee at home and I love that I can get beans within a day or two after ordering and the beans are freshly roasted for the order.Highly suggest going to their shop and ordering from their site.

This spot is the real deal. If you’re looking for high quality coffee in Chicago, don’t miss it! I visited Chicago this weekend and was already planning to go, but several shops I went to beforehand sold their coffee, so the hype only grew. Didn’t disappoint in the least. Bought some of their beans.
