I do not recommend New Orleans Seafood for dining in. It's small, so even banking on seating would be a risky move. I was pretty impressed by the taste and generous portion size of my small order of shrimp fried rice, and the potstickers appetizer was good. My husband found himself unimpressed with his pork with fried noodles dish. I was highly disappointed in the crab rangoon. They were very small, which would have been okay if they were flavorful. My love and I visited the great city of New Orleans this summer, and since then we have wound up experiencing New Orleans Seafood twice in Chicago. Now I must say I am not big on seafood, so your own experience with New Orleans Seafood may depend on whether you like seafood or not. This spot is a hidden gem in the area that provides authentic regional Vietnamese flavors from New Orleans. I've had the fried catfish, calamari, and wings thus far and they were flavorful with a light and crispy batter. Good prices and great for carry out. The staff is also quite nice and friendly. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu!
