Remember going there as a kid. Food is ok but they must of hired sloths to run the place. It takes forever to get a hotdog combo and the fries are ALWAYS over fried. Staff is terrible food is acceptable.
I first went to Parisi's when we moved to the neighborhood many years ago. It was great then and still is now. Forget Portillo's. Whenever I am in the area, I stop in for a beef and or sausage "fix." Hotdogs are great too / Chicago style. Parisi's Drive-In - an American institution and landmark. The pride of Chicago's Southwest area.

The Italian steak and the Italian chicken is AMAZING! The fries are always perfect and crispy too. I do wish I knew what giardiniera peppers they use because those are also so good!
