My husband and I went to the Waukegan location for lunch and it was Fabulous! We came from out of State for our Sons Navy Graduation. It was by far my favorite restaurant to eat!

Pepe's Mexican Restaurant in Chicago offers a fantastic dining experience with wonderful food. The staff is warm, inviting, and attentive, making customers feel valued. Recently reopened under new ownership, Pepe's maintains its charm without significant renovations. Guests can enjoy the delicious carne asada and experience great service. Many customers recommend trying the coronaritas frozen, and they also love the complimentary birthday dessert accompanied by a cheerful birthday song. While one customer found the enchiladas dry, they are willing to give it another chance. Overall, Pepe's Mexican Restaurant is a favorite spot for many due to its great food, friendly service, and notably better margaritas compared to other places.
