Plena Mercancia is a cool place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The coffeequito is the most delicious coffee drink, rich, smooth and unforgettable. The signature slow-poured coquito coffee offers pure comfort in a cup. The specialty coffecito drink is also delicious and perfect for WFH in a cozy, relaxing space. The ambiance is vibrant, relaxing and full of heart, with friendly owner who is kind, helpful and super inviting. The small market showcases Boricua symbology with cute totes, postcards, shirts and great products. Guests can find famous quesitos and guava pastries that are so good. The cafe features Puerto Rican artists, local culture and a small selection of books. Many items bring you back to Island roots and you feel at home. It is a hidden gem in Humboldt Park, a neighborhood favorite where everyone is super friendly and keen to get to know each other.
