ROOF on theWit Reviews
I love the Ambience, the bar type food was really good, and the music and drinks was great!
If you want a cocktail you can keep ordering, round after round, get the Duck Pond. It was actually invented by a Duck and made in batch with mallard love. Savory, complex, delicious, memorable. Quack quack.
Great views, we went just before close to hang out before dinner.

ROOF on theWit offers a lively atmosphere with a DJ spinning tracks on weekends and a variety of cocktails and local brews available. The venue is clean and has a gorgeous view of the Chicago downtown from the rooftop, providing a stunning panorama of the city. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, with one being especially funny and attentive. The drinks, such as the cucumber gin and tonic, are very good and a highlight for many visitors. The menu features gluten-free options, including a delicious pizza and the notable truffle fries, which are a standout dish. The Wedge Salad remains a popular choice. While the views of the river and city are good, they are all indoors, which is nice during chilly weather outside. The atmosphere and music are great, making it a good spot for cocktails and fun. Service can sometimes be slow but attentive when present. The steak frites is okay but not exceptional, and some dishes, like veggie options, may be slightly over-salted. Overall, ROOF on theWit is a recommended place for cocktails, great food, and vibrant energy, even if the food can be hit or miss.
