The hibachi chicken rice was so tasty, and I loved the Pink Lady sushi!
Went to celebrate my birthday and we had a wonderful night doing our hibachi dinner. the chef was really funny kept us entertained and full of jokes. Food was delicious well seasoned and cooked. Overall restaurant is super clean, fast service and organized.
Stopped in for a solo lunch while shopping. Super friendly staff and yummy rolls

Based on the reviews, Sakura Teppanyaki & Sushi | Hibachi in Lakeview Chicago is an American-Japanese hibachi style restaurant that also serves sushi, not a teppanyaki restaurant. The food is excellent and delicious overall. The hibachi steak with fried rice proved satisfying, and the salmon sashimi was great with soy sauce. The crab roll and crab rangoons were excellent. The hibachi chef was probably the funniest chef and gave a great experience. The location is really nice, but it can be a little noisy with loud night club level music. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive, though there was a late seating for a large group. The only downside was the ginger salad dressing needs some improvement. It is a hidden gem for good hibachi, and guests would happily come back.
