Usually relaxing outside even with traffic of all kinds passing by. But not this time. A Starbucks manager did a loud two sided, multi store staff on zoom at the next table. Good to know some Starbucks HR policy, earnings, store/regional performance etc. back in the day, where I worked, we were cautioned against talking about or even working on company business in public like airports, planes, even taxi rides. I came in after lolla, very late, 5 minutes before closing, which I feel guilty about. But I was met with a smile by Tory at the register! He was so kind and we conversed briefly. Shout out to him! Great worker who makes everyone feel welcomed and leaving happy!
An Oasis on a hot day in Chicago! The crew here is top notch and so friendly.
