Sultan's Market Reviews
It's fantastic old school Chicago, and the food is so good, you just want to live there...
Food was delish . Warm and cozy .
Great atmosphere
Great atmosphere
I was just in and out to grab a snack and use the bathroom while waiting on the very delayed bus. The decor was pretty cool and felt authentic. Their butterscotch and chocolate cookies were only $2 each and they were very filling but slightly dry. It looks like they have a full buffet which I'll be going back to try. I loved the whimsical bathroom.

Sultan's Market offers great vegetarian and vegan options, with friendly staff. The falafel sandwich and baked zatar sandwich are popular, along with the lentil soup. The beef and chicken shawerma sandwiches are also loved, and the palace theme adds to the experience. The best falafel is found here, with customers coming for 13 years and saying it cannot be compared anywhere in nyc. The combo platter is a winner, with rice and amazing spicy sauce, and the food is always fresh. The lamb shawarma plate comes with a nice hot sauce. The atmosphere is chill, quiet, and clean, with the same people for years.
