We stopped in after seeing the decor from the street and found some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Service was extremely fast and everything was truly delicious. The shrimp and birria tacos were our favourites.
Tacombi is an absolute gem in the Wicker Park neighborhood. The food is delicious and incredible, with every taco on the menu being good. Specific favorites include the huge and flavorful chicken tinga taco, as well as the black bean and sweet potato tacos and the avocado tostada. The restaurant has good vegetarian options. Tuesday features BOGO tacos and avocado tostadas, which pairs well with a happy hour offering $5 beers and $9 margaritas. It is a perfect atmosphere for a weeknight dinner and is never too busy. The service is friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making for a great experience that is highly recommended.
