Delicious food, very friendly owner & service 👌
Delicious food! Great service!
What can I say about this place... my wife and her family has been going here 50 years? I've been going 20 years. The food is ALWAYS top notch. Although it is sad they are closing in Pilson, I will enjoy having them closer in Berwyn. 😃

La Casa Del Pueblo Taqueria is a beloved Mexican restaurant serving authentic, cafeteria-style dishes. With a 50-year history, this eatery has built a loyal following for its delicious and reasonably priced meals. Favorites include the amazing tamales, chicken mole, and chilli rellenos. The restaurant is known for its generous portions and cozy atmosphere, making it a must-visit for a satisfying and flavorful meal.
Customers praise the restaurant's delicious Mexican breakfast, with one customer describing it as their "all-time favorite" and expressing their intention to continue visiting for the next 30 years. Another customer had a positive experience with the chicarron red/green tacos, describing them as "delicious" and stating they would visit again.
However, one customer had a less than pleasant experience with the carryout service. The customer reported that a man with grey hair, who may have been the owner, was rude and demanding towards an older lady in the kitchen. The customer felt the man's behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate, though they acknowledged that the food itself was still delicious.
