Didn’t end up staying- just writing this review to implore the importance of making a reservation, especially on a Friday evening. Looked like a very cute spot, I’ll definitely return in the future with a reservation!
This is charming place with a great beer list; it’s authentically English. Try to sit near the fireplace on a cold evening.The bartender / owner gave us an Irish cream after dinner, and I normally don’t like creamy drinks, but that one was so good! I wish I remembered the name of it.

Really cool spot, library vibes with ww1 history. Honestly the spot is very nice from the inside. We got the curry fries, pretzel and the sticky toffee pudding. I loved everything besides the sticky toffee dessert - such hope for that but turned out to be a small cake w caramel and nothing more- It needed iced cream not whipped cream. Regardless this place is actually worth visiting for a casual beer and maybe fish n chips/bangers & mash. Cheers!
