The Tamale Lady now has a storefront near its original location, close to a Walgreens and gas station. The tamales are considered some of the best in the city, offering insane value. The food is delicious and amazing, with specific praise for the pollo verde, pollo rojo, and rajas tamales. The rajas, a vegetarian option with queso and salsa verde, are called the star of the show. The pollo salsa verde tamale is also highlighted. Service is very kind. The spot is cash or Zelle only, with more menu options on weekends. Champurrado is also available. It is a highly recommended place.
