Enjoyed are stay, good location. Room was good. The fire place was life but the smell of gas was to strong so we didn't use it that much. Close to lots to

Best Waldorf we have been to. The ambience, the smell of the lobby is one of our favorite that my husband wants to buy what they use. Lol! They have the best and healthy selection of breakfast compare to all the other Waldorf we have stayed in. The rooms are great and clean and their spa shop has good stuff that they even collaborate with Balmain and Lululemon. Will always stay here first before anywhere else whenever we visit Chicago!

The baffling incompetence of the staff is only rivaled by their barefaced lying ability. Never has been having a drink at a hotel bar been so taxing. On Feb 12 I visited from palm beach and met friends at Bernard. Dana our waitress, was great. Nonetheless the nightmare began after leaving. I saw an overcharge in my card and decided to contact the hotel, Joanna Ramirez reached back shortly, yea we will figure it out, it’s a priority and all that, gave some excuse that was later recanted. Nothing happened and I called back a week later she has no clue of our chatting and offered hotel stay for our Inconvenience. Nothing happened. I decide to call the manager after a month shortly I was contacted about a full refund and the promise of Joanna’s call. Dreading the experience, I accepted the refund and the call. The call that just took place then switched Joanna’s full story, the who’s the what’s and the when’s and the credit for a stay was also taken off the table. Such a sad little experience, glad I stayed at The Ritz when I visited Chicago and not there as originally planned.

Great hotel, excellent service. A+Updating my review to say thanks a bunch to the staff and especially to Sheryl at the concierge desk. She was wonderfully accomodating and made our brief stay extremely pleasant. This place remains our local favorite and we look forward to coming back

I stayed here multiple times here and I was always amazed by the service and the room. Very luxury interior design, spacious room space, super helpful staff.Only con for me is that the city view is just okay because of the location but that doesn’t bother me as much.Rooms: Luxury, spacious, super quiet.Nearby activities: Many shops around, easy and convenient.Safety: Very safe to me due to the location.

The hotel it's pretty representative of what a 5 star hotel is in the middle of downtown Chicago. I would venture that the service is going from great to outstanding and every member of the staff was trying to outdo themselves in not just being welcoming but being helpful. I travel a lot for business and it was quite good to go to the hotel and get an upgraded room that suited the needs of my travel situation at the time. I'm grateful for the level of service as well as I would mention that the bar even though it's very absolutely tiny had a great vibe and the staff members, including the bartender which funny enough was an American guy that spoke Spanish and everyone of the ladies that worked there were super professional, easy to talk to, friendly and attentive. I think I will remember this visit for quite awhile. Thank you.

We had an excellent stay here. The staff did so much to welcome us and make sure our stay was wonderful. The nicest perk they offered was car service within a mile, which allowed us to get around in comfort. I was easily able to use my Diamond food and beverage credit at the restaurant and all the food was delicious. Overall an amazing stay.

The hotel is very nice and overall staff are very nice. However, very oddly, for a 5 star hotel they don't automatically have espresso or coffee machines in the room, nor do they offer complimentary coffee or have a coffee station anywhere in the hotel. Coffee is only served in the restaurant. They offer to bring a coffee maker up but no one wants to wait a half hour for that inconvenience. For this reason alone, I'll never stay here again. Very thoughtless for a 5 star

Placed a booking and within 10 minutes realized I had placed the wrong date and they wouldn't let me cancel it but told me I could try again in a future date and they would refund that. I called back later and tried to stay at the hotel on a **non-peak** weekday the hotel refused to honor the previous promise saying it wasn't in their "business interest". The hotel manager Fernando was one of the most rude and apathetic individuals I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry and I will never be staying here again.-- Update --- Moiz from Waldorf Astoria was extremely helpful and followed up after the initial snafu. Very grateful for his kindness and the hotel's courtesy to rectify the situation.

The Waldorf Astoria Chicago is where luxury marries unparalleled service. From the moment you step foot in this opulent marble white lobby accented in emerald green, you're greeted with smiles and helpful staff. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel's design is lavish and over the top.The service at the Waldorf Astoria is extraordinary. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are exceeded. Whether it's arranging transportation or providing recommendations for the best dining options in the area, the staff's dedication to hospitality is unmatched. My junior suite was beautiful. It had a fireplace which was a standout and rare feature. Every corner of the Waldorf Astoria exudes elegance and charm! I absolutely loved my stay.

I travelled to Waldorf with my sister and her daughter for her 3rd birthday. This is by far the best experience we have ever had at any hotel, not just in Chicago but worldwide. I can confidently say this is 5-star hotel experience is in a league of its own. From the moment we checked in, they made Poppy’s birthday so special with a lovely gift and set up in the suite. The staff check-ins, car service and turndown service were all bonuses. We visit Chicago often but now, it will always be the Waldorf. A great staff and team you truly have, making every guest feel so cared for and comfortable!
