“Very clean and cute shop with wonderful service. The people were very polite and food was quick. I got the orange chicken and it was outstanding. A lot of place use a sugary/ fake tasting orange sauce, but Broccoli has a very authentic and delightful taste. Our appetizers were super good, too. I was in town for a convention but I'd happily drive the hour it takes to get there to eat at Broccoli again.“

“A long overdue review. Noodlebird is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Every dish is full-flavored, bold, and made with thoughtful and creative pairings. The smoked tofu is incredible, the curry is my favorite, the peanut noodles are so soft and delicious, and the veggie Mac soup is one of my favorites. The bakery is also one of the best in the city. The creative desserts like mochi doughnuts, banana caramel brownie (my favorite brownie ever), the egg tarts (a must if you’ve never tried), the passion fruit Masada, and so many more are the perfect way to end the meal. The service is top notch, timely, super friendly, and warm.Noodlebird deserves any and all accolades for its super-creative dishes, friendly service, intensely flavored food, etc.“

“Hands down to the best ramen and Japanese curry place in the South Loop! Everything was delicious! I went twice during my 3 days vacation in Chicago. I was so lucky that Chinatown was only 15min walking from my hotel. I wish I could go anytime I want but I live too far.Service is super great! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food. For sure I’ll be back whenever I’m close.“

“I’ve gone here multiple times and done takeout multiple times. It is honestly a favorite neighborhood gem. The service when dining in is truly great and some of the best in Lakeview!! The food is always consistent and the atmosphere is quite adorable…great for friends or date night - either way! Thank you to the staff! A young gentleman was our server twice and he was phenomenal.Favorites: Shanghai Lo Mein & Mongolian Beef“

“Able to seat yourself for dine-in — or serve yourself at the to-go kiosk! Excellent dish choices that do take some time to come out, but that’s to give you fresh and piping hot food! Big portions so be prepared to share or build up an appetite. Finally tried Pad See Ew which I was recommended to try since I love Pad Thai — I was amazed! Also Sala Pao Buns Definitely a gem hidden in the rough!“

“My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and we had a really great experience! The staff were so friendly and the food didn't take long to come out. We got a few items on the menu and the food tasted great! Besides the food, we also got Thai Tea and Thai Coffee, highly recommended !“

“I really like their poke! They use fresh ingredients and have good sized portions. However I recommend skipping their wonton soup. It’s extremely overpriced for a small container. I’m also 99% sure their wonton soup is the frozen wonton soup that Costco sells.“

“My best friend and I came for dinner as we are huge sushi lovers! We parked at a nearby parking lot and walked less than a mile to the restaurant. We were greeted by the host and immediately loved the vibe of the place. It was moderately loud and pretty vibrant, perfect place for a night on the town. We were seated upstairs and we loved the view of the restaurant from our table. We started with cocktails, I had a signature cocktail (I don't remember the name of it but I know it had ginger beer in it and came in a copper cup). My best friend had a classic French 75, we loved the cocktails. The appetizers were pretty good, we had the calamari and our favorite was the Truffled Tuna. I had the Pacific Coast roll and my friend had the Hotate Volcano roll. We absolutely loved the food! We had great conversation with the bartender who was super friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“Returning tomorrow after about ten years or more. The restaurant is very tight between tables so it wasn’t handicapped friendly for my late mother who loved this place prior to being on a wheelchair, which is one reason why we stopped going there. Cleanliness was another issue, especially the washroom. I hope the restaurant has improved.“
“The puto is amazing at Ima’s! It’s spongy, moist, and subtly sweet. Perfect! I purchased the plain, ube, and pandan and my family was very happy.I spoke whom I believe was the owner and he was very knowledgeable about dietary allergies (gluten-free, dairy-free, nuts). He also explained they make their own rice flour in-house by grinding their own rice. Amazing! They also have a hot bar of food and frozen desserts.Everything is to-go. No dine-in.“

“Came in for a quick dinner before the gym and they greeted me with kindness and quick service. I got the drunken noodles with tofu and halfway through forgot I had gotten tofu! The tofu was so well seasoned and prepared that I honestly thought I had gotten meat (I’m flexitarian meaning I eat meat but minimal amounts)! It had the perfect amount of spice (I got medium) and was the perfect amount of filling but not stuffed.“

“Ken Kee Restaurant in Chinatown, Chicago offers a delightful culinary experience worth exploring. The chicken fried here is a standout, boasting flavorful seasoning and a satisfying crunch that keeps you coming back for more. While the fried chicken noodles are decent, the real star of the show is the crab rangoon – irresistibly delicious and sure to tantalize your taste buds with each bite. The fried oyster also deserves mention, offering a savory delight that complements the other dishes well. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, although there is room for improvement. Service is commendable, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. What's more, the prices are excellent, offering great value for the quality of food served. Overall, Ken Kee Restaurant delivers a satisfying dining experience with its delicious fare, friendly service, and affordable prices, making it a must-visit spot in Chinatown.“

“We ordered/scheduled ahead for a team lunch. I ordered a medium-spice BYOB with chili coconut curry sauce, white rice, tofu, onions, green kale, purple cabbage, and edamame. The bowl was delicious and a good lunch portion, however it needed more sauce as some parts of the bowl was dry. I got a medium spice level but could definitely go for hot next time as this didn't have any spice. It leaves you feeling full and healthy. Overall, I would go again and maybe try the rice noddles.“

“This review is from last summer - one of the most delicious foods I ever had from a food truck. The chicken bao was so savory that I went for seconds. The team working on the food truck was very sweet and nice. They were patient to get the order from a crowd in a line. The weather was also perfect to enjoy the food.“

Always has been and this review is long overdue as I’ve been a customer for a long time. They always go above and beyond and truly take food allergies very seriously! Great staff! “What a wonderful ramen place across from the Millennium Park in Chicago. We came here for lunch on a Saturday and got a nice table with natural light. Their ramen is generous in portion (delicious but I couldn't finish it) and beautifully presented. Their poke bowl is also very nice. The place is casually but tastefully decorated (not upscale but inviting). Clean toilet is a plus!“
