“Visited the Clubhouse Coal City with former classmates tonight & had an absolutely awesome dinner. Bloody Mary was top notch & one of our friends ordered a caramel Apple Martini that looked scrumptious 🥰 I ordered the much talked about ribs & was not disappointed ❣️❣️❣️They were fall off the bone tender; dripping with deliciousness ❤️❤️The sauce was a fabulous complex of flavors that satisfies every point on your palate - a 10 star delight on a plate🤩🤩 Salad was super fresh with just the right amount of added extras 😉I ordered the mashed potatoes & again the seasoning was right on point. Service was excellent 😍 I guarantee you I will be back, with more people, as this restaurant does not disappoint!!!“

“went here with my family to try it is as its down the street from my work. They are super friendly, the prices are on point and the food is great for a quick bite to eat. Don't let the outside appearance deter your from trying this place out.“

“The building is due for a paint job, but inside the dining area is clean and bright and very comfortable for dining. Reasonable prices on a page of sandwiches and the same for the chicken dinners. The soup is served hot, thick, and full of substance. The chicken arrive hot with a nice crisp coating and moist tender meat inside. Several dessert pies to choose from. (We had to get pie, it was 3/14 Pi day) and ours was fresh/delicious. Plenty of parking and a great place to eat after a day of antiquing.“

“I ordered a gyro platter for one person me and that thing was fantastic and I'm sorry but there was just way too much stuff potato wedges cheese gyro meat was about right it was about all the other stuff that came with it never had potato wedges with a gyro platter thought that was great 20 bucks that was worth it“

“Edit 4/19/20; We drove back out for a second try on a Sunday during a very busy time and this place was even better than the first time, even for a Sunday brunch during peak time. Again, we will be back!!!
Decided to take an hour drive out to Morris to try the brunch buffet out and what a great decision it was. My wife and I had mostly the breakfast items and every thing we had, eggs, biscuits and gravy, spicy potatoes, crepes and more where on point. The lunch items looked fantastic as well but we were in the breakfast mood today. My wife finished her meal off with a medley of fruit and said all of it was very fresh. Saw some items off the menu taken to other tables and they looked fabulous as well. We will definitely take the trip back out in the very near future. On top of everything the staff were very, very friendly and personable which makes the meal all that much better. Thank you for a pleasureable experience. They are tough to come by nowadays...“

“My daughters hosted a 65th birthday party for us at Old School Brewery with Nelly’s catering. We had an odd request, as we usually get their burgers when we go there. My daughters worked with Nelly’s and planned a Burger Bar complete with toppings, potato salad, baked beans, veggies, fruit and green salad! It was amazing! We really enjoyed it and everyone seemed to enjoy it! Thank you for working with us and for making that work! So anyone planning a party and are burger fans, check out their burger bar! “Stopped in when I was out shopping. The order was taken quickly and brought to me fast. The food was as expected for a fast food burger place it was quick, which is the selling point. When I questioned her on my charge and realized I was charges for a double and nit a single. She stared me down at the window and when I said to HER “ thank you, have a good night”… she again just looked at me and closed the window.. wtf… Come on child… Its NOT the end of the world..
