“$15 All you can eat fried chicken lunch is a little misleading. Its closer to $16 per person, drinks not included. You get a small side of mashed potatoes and green beans with 2 pieces of fried chicken. No bread. If you want more chicken, you get more chicken. If you want more potatoes or green beans, it is an upcharge. Sides were ok but not chef quality. Chicken was ok. Cooked well, not seasoned well, and had a rubbery texture. Seemed as if it was cooked from freezer to fryer. Not impressed especially for the price. Wont return.“

“We were staying in Murphysboro to help our son move into SIU and found this place on Yelp. We weren't sure about going because of some of the previous reviews, but we went for it. We are extremely glad that we did! The vibe and quality of the food was outstanding. We had the all-you-can-eat fish fry and the smoked chicken. Definitely get side of the broccoli salad and the potato salad. Fantastic! For our appetizer we got onion rings. Some of the best we've ever had. If you're looking for an authentic BBQ/country restaurant where the people are relaxed and down to earth, Mase's is the place for you. We can't wait to come back!“
