“$15 All you can eat fried chicken lunch is a little misleading. Its closer to $16 per person, drinks not included. You get a small side of mashed potatoes and green beans with 2 pieces of fried chicken. No bread. If you want more chicken, you get more chicken. If you want more potatoes or green beans, it is an upcharge. Sides were ok but not chef quality. Chicken was ok. Cooked well, not seasoned well, and had a rubbery texture. Seemed as if it was cooked from freezer to fryer. Not impressed especially for the price. Wont return.“

“By far the best Carolina style BBQ sandwich in Southern Illinois and a lot of other places I've been. Start with a slow smoked ham. Slice a pile of it razor thin. Grill it up so the edges are crispy brown. Stack it on a fluffy toasted bun. Order the large!“

“Such a cute spot! We didn't have reservations ( but should have) and the hostess sat us at the bar which was great! We all enjoyed our dinner and cocktails! The service was friendly and attentive. We will return and we will have reservations next time!“

“Peachbarn winery and cafe is a unique space along the Illinois wine trail. Peachbarn offers tastings and dinner. I would highly recommend stopping for dinner and especially try the soup. The tasting counter is just that, a counter and not really set up as a bar but more like get and pay for your tasting here and take it over there and sit down. The server was just the server and the person who was pouring the tastings was was just the person pouring the tastings. Still a must stop offering a solid selection of wine and food that I would stop for even if there was no wine offerings. There are many wineries to stop at and Peachbarn definitely makes the list of wineries you must visit.“

“I had the Bubbles Haystack, which is a biscuit, over hash browns with your choice of egg and meat, covered in white gravy. I had scrambled eggs and bacon on mine. You could get bacon, sausage or ham. It was really good! The only improvement I can suggest is crispier hash browns. They were a little soggy, but still good! Nice breakfast for under 10 bucks. The place is small and busy so be prepared to be in close quarters with other guests. Overall great experience.“

“We were staying in Murphysboro to help our son move into SIU and found this place on Yelp. We weren't sure about going because of some of the previous reviews, but we went for it. We are extremely glad that we did! The vibe and quality of the food was outstanding. We had the all-you-can-eat fish fry and the smoked chicken. Definitely get side of the broccoli salad and the potato salad. Fantastic! For our appetizer we got onion rings. Some of the best we've ever had. If you're looking for an authentic BBQ/country restaurant where the people are relaxed and down to earth, Mase's is the place for you. We can't wait to come back!“
