But I will say their kitchen manager called me back even after I didn't request a call back. Because he was determined to figure out what the issue was and make it right. Very impressive and completely turned around my mood.

“This place has terrific Margaritas and super food. IMHO, the best Mexican food in St Louis since El Maguey(by Ted Drewe's closed). The nachos with queso and a Margarita and the guacamole made at your table are real standouts. Once you do the made at your table guacamole, you will never settle for that dog slip in the bowl EVER AGAIN.“

“1st time here. Got sat right away. Beautiful old building. Took the server a few mins to greet us. Got drinks. Waited a while for her to come back to take our order. Ordered all our food, appetizers and entrees. Dirty fries were good, but fries were cold. Server never came to check on how appetizers were til we were pretty much done. Ordered the hot honey smash burger..once again fries were cold, never seen server to tell her. Burger was so greasy that the bottom bun was soaked. Couldn’t eat the bun because of the grease. Pretty bland entree. No LTPO was provided or asked about. Would have made it a bit better. Mac n cheese my friend ordered was gritty and had zero flavor. Overall just an ok spot.“

“First time back in about 6 months. Food and waitstaff were great, but we had to wait almost 30-40 minutes for fish. There was a number of tables that were there before us that also had been waiting because you could tell by their face. We’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for fish to be delivered. They also are usually packed at 6:30 with a line for a table and the place was clearing out. What has changed with the delivery speed???“

“Tonight we celebrated my mother's 65th birthday. this wasn't my first time but it was her first as well as my aunts. Everything from the atmosphere, the service, the bartender or wine sommelier gave an excellent recommendation that my mother truly enjoyed! The FOOD was impeccable. My mom and aunt went on to say this was the best experience they've ever had and my sister and I knew it would hit it out of the ballpark for them! the owners, the chef, the service providers and the family are top tier excellence. “We came in at 11, an hour before close and there was only one other table and they were about to leave. I hate to be that group but we just got ro town for work and this was the only place open that wasn't a drive thru. Work truck couldn't fit a drive thru. We ordered a beer while waiting for a to go order. The waitress was very nice and very accommodating. Food was cooked fresh and to order. Very grateful for the experience.“

“Pretty decent food..but when this place charges as much as it does.. the cook should know when the grill is getting low of steak and keep plenty on the grill..when we got there it was all gone and he was just then reloading the grill..I've ran a kitchen before and this is a big drop in my confidence of who is in charge back there.“
