“ordered from doordash as I can't get out and about as I'd like- but the dishes ordered were absolutely delicious. The scallop with wasabi mayo was my favorite, and the spicy tuna roll was delicious! major improvement using the new recipe as opposed to spicy mayo. Absolutely will order again, the scallop is addicting!“
“I have to say, of all of the sushi restaurants I've ever been, this has become one of the best if ever been to. Its a fairly small locale that we attended with a group of 10 people. We were well served and didn't have to wait long for our food. The food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it.Parking: The restaurant has its own parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: The locale is on a ground floor with no steps to reach the door. Very accessible.“
“Possibly the best sushi in Madison County. Always fresh. The rainbow roll is awesome if you really enjoy the fish part of sushi, I believe 3 different kinds of fish on the outside of the roll drizzled with a sauce. They have a chicken teriyaki roll for those that hate fish but don't want to be left out.“
“The food is always top notch and you couldn’t ask for better service. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. If you want to watch the game you can catch it on one of the TVs. I really liked that I could check the score without having to talk over the tv. It was quiet enough you could hold a conversation. Always my GOTO for sushi!“
“This place looked interesting and being a sushi guy especially salmon, eel, and tuna. I went in about quarter after 11am on a Thursday and this place was dead minus a couple people in the video gaming room which was separated from the main part of the restaurant and shop that is inside by a door entry. Service from Julie was wonderful, checking up on you every 5 to 10 minutes and food wad made fast. In and out in 40 minutes plus 10 to 15 mins looking at the small shop inside of the resturant area. Prices are actually quite reasonable similar to if not cheaper than other sushi places I've seen or been in the area. They even had my favorite asian snacks in stock! Will be back and will tell others about this lovely place.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or curb, just roll right in. Plenty of handicap parking.“
“We have been blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever eaten at, and the quality rivals or surpasses the quality of Drunken Fish or Shogun. The sushi is delicious. The hibachi is delicious. It is great to see the old building they're located in getting used well.“
“This is the best place for sushi and Japanese hibachi in Edwardsville!Great service, food is delicious, place is clean and well decorated AND prices are reasonable. The place has is own parking area and it's wheelchair accessible.Totally recommend!“
“Nice convenient location on this side of the river, I find the usual sushi prices pretty high, but they have a reliable Tuesday special where you can buy one get one for most of the non-fancy rolls. The scallop roll is particularly enjoyable. The miso soup is maybe out 3/10, it definitely tastes like it's from a mix that you buy from the store.“
“I was not sure what to have for dinner and found Drunken Fish. I almost didn't stop because it looked closed. So glad I did. The service was awesome and so friendly. The place was clean and everything came out very quick. I ordered the Sake punch with 2 sushi rolls. The drink was very good and not too sweet. The sushi rolls I ordered, Philly and Rainbow. I had a few additions of nigiri for the chief. Everything was fresh and so good.“
“The go-to place for sushi in Edwardsville. This place never disappoints. I've ordered sushi, entrees, appetizers, and anything else, and it's all been fantastic; that's why we keep going back. The service is always on point. Check out their shrimp yaki soba.“
“Arrived at 5 pm. No crowd. Seat yourself. The waitress was pleasant and helpful with suggestions. I had the fish tacos and I added sweet chili sauce. The tacos come unassembled so you put them together per your preference. The beer battered fish was white with a good flavor. I didn't care for the tartar sauce, but the guacamole and chili sauces were tasty. There were grilled peppers and onions with a southwest seasoning to add and I was surprised how well they went with the fish. Shredded cheese and lettuce finished it off.“
“I’m a vegetarian, so I just ordered the fried rice. It was exceptionally good rice — and the guy gave me TOO MUCH of it (which I guess is a good thing to some people).I’d definitely go back for the fried rice, which is awesome with the teriyaki sauce.“
