I was casually scrolling the internet (as one does 🤦🏽‍♀️), and a content creator swore by this McDonald’s hack: Order a McChicken, add cheese and Big Mac sauce. She promised it would be delicious—and guess what?

She was absolutely right.

Those simple tweaks transformed a basic sandwich into something almost gourmet! The Big Mac sauce added just the right tang, and the melted cheese brought it all together. Very, very tasty.

“I recently moved into the area and had a gift card for schoops so i decided to stop in for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I had the schoops mickey which I'm not sure what the difference is between that and just a normal cheeseburger. Service was nice from the ladies. Atmosphere is like a retro diner. The place was well kept which makes me think they intend to keep that vibe going. At the time of this review, I paid about $18 for the burger, small fries, and a coke. That's not including tip. It's certainly not a place for the budget minded.“

“This is the best Dairy Queen around. Friendly staff with fast service and no screwed up orders. Everything here is 20-40% cheaper than the St John and Schererville locations. A box of 6 dilly bars cost $8.99 in Dyer. A box of dilly bars in St. John cost $17.99 and $16.99 in Schererville. The Schererville store ice cream quality is terrible, the blizzards are watery every time ive been there and ive been there around 20 times“

$4 regular onion rings came with literally only 4 onion rings. $1/ring is crazy so that’s the only feedback. Will say they were nice and crispy tho but still either overpriced, but more likely the gentleman serving out too few on accident.“

Several people in the kitchen being loud and throwing things at each other. When he came in and we went to the counter she greeted us. Took our order. Pleasant enough. Another girl was wiping trays. We grabbed drinks. Area needed to be wiped down but the napkins, straws, lids, and ketchup area were all stocked. Went to dining room and had to go to 5 tables to find a clean one. Food came out quickly. They have changed their burgers. They are thin as paper. Like meat crepes. Seriously. Bacon was cooked the way I like it. Husband and I ordered the same sandwich, only he got a double. Apparently that changes the type of bun you get because mine was a regular hamburger bun wrapped in paper and his was a fluffy sandwich bun in a paper bowl. Receipt reflected we paid for two of the same sandwiches. So who knows the thought process there. Finished and dumped our tray. Didn't bother getting ice cream.“

“A treasure to try! Never heard of this place and unfortunately missed it all these years. This restaurant has been around for over 70 years on Chicago and 2 years in this location.
Great tacos! The shells were nice with a buttery taste to them. The mear was tender and plenty ingredients in the tacos. The wait wasn't long for the food.

The owner was helpful with our order and telling us about the family business as well as what tacos might suit us. He has a jerk chicken taco but it's not foe the weak taste buds person. You're not going to run down the street like Richard Pryor on fire but you probably will run for a drink to cool your mouth down.

The fries were tasty. They put slices of cheese and melt it on the grill on top. I haven't had them that way since childhood.

The lemonades and teas are a must. A Variety of flavors for everyone.

A must try and keep coming back place. Y? Why Not!“

“I went here because a coworker of mine told me about their mushroom swiss burger. The staff were friendly and my order came quickly. Granted, it was the slower part of the day but still great service. I can appreciate that.

After trying the burger, I noticed that I didn't get that bloated or weighed-down feeling. The burger was good, the fries were good and I liked the shake. It took a spoon to really get into it, but that's to be expected when having a thick shake. All around great experience in my book.“

“The cheese on the burger wasn't melted at all. The fries were medium warm, and the employees' uniforms were all over the place, dirty and sagging and let's not get on these ladies' hairstyles. Multi colored hair. Long weaves. All with zero hair nets.“

“The girls working were very nice, but stressed it seemed. There was a woman with her daughter that kept arguing with the managers about returning a blizzard that was purchase the day before and got upset when the girls said that they have a same day policy. They still kept the line going, but honestly that exchange put a sour taste in my mouth. Literally why are you trying to return ice cream the next day? Anyways the ice cream was pretty good, but the workers don’t seem respected at all.“
