4 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants near Crete

“Dined here September 6, 5PM. Stopped in while out on an errand.

I ordered a steak burrito and a chicken bowl. The burrito was half rice. The black beans were undercooked. The steak was bland. There was also a teaspoon of sour cream. The bowl also had a lot of rice. The extra guacamole was a chunk of avocado. Beans were undercooked. The chicken was decent.

The service was what one would expect for a brand new place. The staff looked to be the owners, perhaps 2 couples and a friend. Kiosk ordering. Another customer was directed to the kiosk and wasn't allowed to order at the register even though are two card readers right there. I don't know if they take cash. My order was checked by 2 people and pushed at me as that lady turned away.

This place has major Chipotle vibes. And I know they are brand new. I hope they get the kinks worked out as it is close to home and on my travel route. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks and try again. I hope it is better.

Follow up: My return visit was a positive experience. Service kinks have been worked out. Restaurant is clean. Try one of their shrimp items! They are grilled to perfection. Great flavor.“

“I called them on a bad day there were a lot of graduation celebrations and they were short staffed I don't want to rate them on the service or give them negative feedback the food was decent I need to give it another look and go back when it's not so many people there at one time“
