“I just came home from Culver’s. We ordered online and I scheduled curbside pickup. Well I wanted to add to my order and walked in too early. Well it wasn’t even started yet but they went above and beyond trying to accommodate me. The manger was amazing as were all the employees. They all apologized to me but I made the mistake. Brought me my food which was just made and nice and hot. The young man who brought me my food also apologized to me and held the door open for me. What a wonderful experience. This was in in Darien Il. Will definitely return. My nam is Kathy and I hope the manager sees this. Thank you Culver’s.“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“Last night's dining experience was was one of the nicest evenings we've had in quite awhile. The restaurant took exceptional attention to my gluten sensitivity. Each course was perfectly prepared and presented at the table. Our server was delightful taking the time to explain each course to us & answering any questions we may have. I thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairing with my meal, while my husband opted for the Antiguan Uno Malbec. It was a lovely Malbec. I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. “We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

We chose to do a brunch and were able to be let in early with plenty of time to set up before guests arrived. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone had such a great time.
