“HUGE shout out to our amazing Fairlane Diner! Last night on our way home from a basketball game in Nokomis we decided to call and order Fairlane Diner for dinner. We did not realize they closed at 8pm and had dialed the phone at 7:55pm, the friendly woman answering the phone politely took our order and it was hot and fresh when we arrived at 8:15pm! “Outstanding. Second time getting the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos. The sauce is amazing and perfectly spicy. I.e. I don’t really like spicy food but their boom boom sauce is more tangy than hot. And incredible flavor and value, I mean TONS of shrimp, battered and tender. I love its simplicity. Just comes with sauce, lettuce, & tomatoes albeit I asked for no tomatoes and light lettuce and they made it perfect for me.”

“Tried Razzos for the first time tonight. The food was quick, delicious, and hot. Our server Ellie, was one of the best servers we have ever had. She was friendly, attentive, and accomodating. Prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back.”

“Update:I DONT NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! high turnover on staff. every month there are new bartenders. Even when they over-serve an aggressive customer who then assaults you, they will blame you. They have cameras but will believe gossip instead. Numerous people have been banned for being a victim of assault. Bartenders have been fired for being friends of the victim. Bartenders have been fired for calling in because they had to take their dog into the emergency animal hospital. The day after I was assaulted and my glasses broke, I was lectured and blamed by the OWNER for causing another OVERSERVED CUSTOMER to assault me. If you come don’t talk and leave before people are overserved! Historic General store from 1870.In 1940, it transitioned into the great American rural tavern it is today. It’s s what Texas Roadhouse was before they sold out. No better authentic Tavern food around. Many bars, taverns, roadhouses, pubs, come and go, but there is a reason BUCKHART TAVERN had lasted 154 years. Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service, and Great People!”

This is Pizza made by people that CARE about the Pizza they serve to you, and if that means anything to you, there will be no disappointment. “A safe and happy environment to relax in. A deviation from typical north end stereotypes, this bar is friendly to outsiders. The bathrooms are clean and the bartenders are friendly. No issues getting served while not being a NEWT. Visited multiple times and enjoyed every time I’ve gone. If you’re new in town, visiting, or looking for something new I would highly recommend this bar.”

“Been eating here for 13 years and have very rarely had bad food, maybe 3 times out of probably a hundred. Crab Rangoon is excellent, they fry it just long enough to be crispy but not brown and flaky. My fave is definitely General Tsos chicken. Friendly service as well”
