“This is a gem. I wish I lived closer as I would eat here regularly. The menu is a bit meat and tree nut heavy which concerned me but the sole special was delicious and the Gelato was lovely though the portion was too large. The prices were very fair. I suggest you try this restaurant!“

“I totally enjoy the skill of all the wait staff, their ability to inform, enjoy conversation, and do the run down on what the band is like. Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. And occasionally, or perhaps too often singing back up to Motown song fulfills my fantasy to be a Temptation, a Top, Little Stevie Wonder, or Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell. And yes, the Jackson 5. But there's no mountain higher than backup to a Supremes song, except for a Diana song, or Tina is Simply The Best! But Diana's he PEAK, & so is STRAWBERRY MOON. CHECK IT OUT. WAKANDA FOREVER, on Main Street“

“We rented Bliss out for a private party and couldn't recommend it more! The owner, Alex, went above and beyond- communicating quickly, answering every question, and giving us total freedom to decorate and rearrange the space to fit our needs. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for any event or stopping for a glass of wine“

“Cheers. This is a quintessential dive bar where everybody eventually knows your name. A good place to be alone or regale with friends. I’ve visited at least a half dozen times and the experience has been fine. Trish and the other bartenders have been attentive and quite friendly. I’ll be back time and time again.“

“Went with the Hubby on a Saturday date and had a great time! The other customers were friendly and we ended up chatting with half the bar before the night was through. 1 pool table but everyone was super chill taking turns to play. Bathroom was clean. Bartender was very attentive. Looking forward to going back!“

“Most days of the week there's something going on at Madcats. My wife and I live in the neighborhood. When the weather is good we walk over. Our favorite is the Blues Jam on the last Sunday of each month. Great food and drinks. Shoutout to Anna and Felix for friendly service as well as Savio and Madcat.“

“1. Food is delicious (I ordered the fried wings and corn with melted cheese)
2. Drinks are soooooo good. Like incredibly delicious and not overly bitter or too sweet.
3. Service is so nice here. Literally such kind and helpful staff.
4. The karaoke machine is so easy to navigate and use. And the fact that most days out of the week, the rooms are free to use for one hour before 10pm. I have been there twice now and I have enjoyed every single thing about this place.

“This restaurant is beautiful inside with chandeliers and nice tables and chairs I really enjoyed the fried calamari we had as a appetizer. The Lasagna is wonderful! The cannolis are so delicious too! Antonio our server was outstanding and goes out of his way to make it a enjoyable experience. Thank you Salvatore for your kindness! I highly recommend them for a delicious dinner!“

“Everything was absolutely delicious! The grilled mackerel was the highlight of the meal—so juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also loved the gyoza, which were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The miso soup was fresh, comforting, and a perfect start to the meal. The Daikiri Salad was also excellent—fresh, light, and a great complement to the rest of the dishes.
Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. Highly recommend this place!“
