“It's tough to find decent street tacos in Evanston, but Taco Burger definitely delivers. Their tacos are packed with flavor, and I was really impressed with the quality of the ingredients.
I also tried their signature taco burger, and it was surprisingly good! The flavors all worked really well together. Now I'm going to have a hard time choosing between the tacos and the burger on my next visit.

This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“If you get overstimulated, do NOT come here. Train sounds, kids cackling, and loud voice abound! That being said, we have been twice with my toddler for lunch and have had fun each time. Bring quarters to use the horse and bus rides while you wait for a seat. The staff have always been super nice and attentive, and the burgers and chicken sandwich are pleasantly delicious. I’m appalled they sell $7 servings of Kraft Mac and cheese, but shame on us for ordering it every time ? I’ve never had room for dessert, but most tables order a dessert at the end. The wings were crispy and juicy albeit a little on the sweeter side for a mango habanero. Over all loved the food and will be coming back for more!

“Farm house burger was really good. We also had a party melt. IF YOU DON'T LIKE GARDINERE have them take it off. The burger is hot with it. My sweet potato fries were ok but they didn't come out hot they were room temp as if they sat out while my food was making.“

“A nice little fast food joint off of Dempster and Gross Point Rd. They serve up lots of good and intetesting pizza, wraps, burgers and more. All of their food is Zabiha halal certified.

Keep in mind there are no tables to eat inside, this is a takeout/carryout only place.

I recommend Chicken 65 wrap, Malai Chicken wrap, and Meat Lovers pizza.“

“I grew up on Super dawg and had to visit on my Chicagoland visit. I was staying closer to the Wheeling location in the Northwest suburbs. They have a true Chicago dog, with neon green relish, sport peppers and poopy seed bun. It was a treat to also find a pickled green tomato.

On the downside, hot dogs seemed smaller and definitely less crinkle fries, in. A smaller box. Perhaps next time I will order just the hot dog and a side of fries as a better value and more fries. They have more food options available for those that aren't into hot dogs. A nostalgic place to visit.

“Went to Little Louie’s on a whim and we loved it. We got a Cajun wrap and cheeseburger with fries. All of it was out to the table very fast and it was excellent tasting. We aren’t from the area but it will be a place we stop at when we come back thru for sure“

The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“Thought I was going to my favorite burger joint Meatheads and was surprised to discover Epic burger in its place. Although the burger was great, the fries were very disappointing. .

In my judgement the fresh cut fries meathead served were far better than the lightly batter ones they’re serving now. I detest battered fries and pray they go back to fresh cut non battered fries like Meathead served

“From 4pm to 10pm this is Lucky Burgers. Earlier in the day, it is the Jelly Cafe from 7am to 2pm serving breakfast items. We went for dinner and both had the Smash Burger. We liked them and planning on going back. Dinner menu is limited, and the slot machines are busy.“

“I went here for the first time last weekend and it was great! It was busy, but we wanted a booth so we waited a couple minutes and one opened up. The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt. My only slightly negative is that it was a little warm inside for my preference, but it was a super hot day when I visited. If I’m in the area, I will be back!“
